How to Unleash Your Inner Creative Self And Enjoy Your Personal Self Expression!

We all are creative in one way or another, even if you don't believe this, you are. You will notice there are times where you might have a moment where you burst out with something creative but then there is a lapse where it's gone. This is natural because as adults we simply are not in touch with the inner child that gives us those insights to creativity.

One way to help your creativity flow is to make sure that you know a lot about at least one subject, better if you have several subjects that you know a little about. This is a way for you to be able to understand the basic concepts of other things that you might not be in touch with, especially your creative side.

If you want to try and find that creative side you should try and cut down on the distractions. You need to start fresh and be able to focus in on what it is that you have to offer. You need to shut off your phones, turn off your computer, turn off the TV or radio and make sure that it's just you and nothing else.

It might be that in order to get a clear view of your creative side that you may just have to take a walk around the neighborhood. You may also need to have to go further like a park, or take a trip to the mountains or to the beach if you live near the coast. Even sitting alone in your room and focusing in on just one thing that you have in your room can help to block out all of the daily distractions that you run into.

Sometimes in order to get creative you might need to pick a time of day where distractions are way down. This might be really early in the mornings or maybe really late at night when everyone else is asleep. This is usually when most of your distractions are kind of put on hold, so take advantages of those times.

You also might want to pick a spot in your home or in your garden where you can go and just let your creative juices flow freely. This needs to be a place that you know that you can be yourself and not afraid to let that inner child come out and help you visualize your potential.

You can get creative ideas by keeping notes in a notepad, record thoughts with a voice recorder or even use a video camera. You can include times when you are alone or even with people you love to be around who have great positive attitudes and are an inspiration to you. Try to use their ideas and the things they say as a way for you to tap into your own creative mind. By recording the things they say and do can be a great help for you to come up with things that will inspire you to create.

When you have a variety of things listed in your notepad you should sit down and look at them and then organize the ideas. Sort and sift through the things that you have written and keep the things that touch you the most and get rid of the things that just don't fit.

You also can do little tricks that will help your brain use more of it's creative side by changing up routines, for instance if you are right handed and eat with your right hand all the time, start eating with your left hand. Try walking backwards around your house from room to room, this again will make you use a different part of your brain. Doing things that are away from the norm is going to keep your brain from becoming complacent with what it does and you will be surprised how your creativity can become awakened by such simple tasks.
